How easy is it to learn English in Vancouver?

It is not difficult, surprisingly. I would say learning A1 English is the hardest step. Beginner's English is the hardest it gets. Once a student reaches the A2 level, the student then has enough of a foundation to participate in everyday English-speaking opportunities. This natural exposure to the language helps most students acquire the language quickly and quite easily. Students who study in Vancouver can even get a job at the A2 level. This can really be a booster for the student, both in terms of English acquisition and pocket income!

Is English easy to learn?

It really depends on the student: what language the student knows and how sociable the student is. Students who already speak another Germanic language will grasp the structure of English quite easily. That being said, a lot of Asian students are driven to learn the English structure from a young age, so they tend to already know the material. Being sociable can help since these students are not shy to use the language and learn from their mistakes. That being said, I would say the most important factor in learning any language, including English, is constant exposure. It is important that students expose themselves in an environment that not only forces the students to constantly use English but also makes the students want to use English because it is fun! English is only as easy to learn as the student is willing to learn it!
