My name is Nomahobe Jack originally from Nqgamakhwe (Eastern Cape) With a career dedicated to working with children and adults, I'm deeply passionate about preserving language skills, especially in today's youth who often miss out on their mother tongues.
My approach to teaching is positive, enthusiastic, and adaptive, with a strong focus on transferring skills effectively. Alongside my love for language education, I have experience as a transcriber and translator, proofreading and editing from the University of Johannesburg Center for Social Change, where I transcribed and translated in three languages: Isixhosa, Isizulu, and English. Additionally, I'm actively involved in environmental justice advocacy, educating young minds about climate change. In addition to my Matric qualification, I hold an Office Administration certificate from Rosebank College. Furthermore, I am still a university student for two years of study towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology at Unisa, broadening my understanding of various subjects and teaching methodologies. I am currently an environmental justice activist volunteering in schools teaching them about being environmentally sensitive and loving nature.
It is easy if you meat someone like me who does not compromise always proud of her language ,
It It is very difficult to learn isiXhosa in PRETORIA unless you stay with someone who speak the Xhosa language ,because there are three main languages spoken here Setswana, Sepedi and Afrikaans.
